Oris Releases New Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph

byadmin 20. February 2021 Uncategorized

Oris is pleased to introduce the latest chronograph version of the iconic diving watch series-Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph. In its 111-year history, Oris is known for designing and creating innovative watches for daily wear, and it is this philosophy that drives the brand to continue to innovate.
Oris launched the Aquis Depth Gauge diving watch series in 2013, which solved the problem of integrating depth gauges into mechanical watches and perfectly interpreted the brand concept of ‘real watches for real people’. One of the most innovative diving watches. The latest version of the chronograph will follow the footprint of the former and continue to ‘sneak’.
Oris set a pilot hole at 12 o’clock on the Aquis Depth Gauge. When the diver dives, the air compresses, and the water flows into the inner ring pipe through the small hole. Therefore, the diver can clearly read the water depth information through the yellow water mark on the disk.
This Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph is powered by the Oris calibre 774 automatic movement, which powers the chronograph and the date at 6 o’clock on the dial. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 48 mm and the shoulders on both sides of the screw-in crown prevent accidental collision damage. The double-sided curved anti-glare sapphire crystal has a thickness of 4 mm, which is twice the average thickness of the mirror, which is durable. In addition, the nickel-plated hands on the black dial and the applied hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova® fluorescent layer, which ensures excellent reading effect even under water.
This chronograph is paired with a black rubber strap and applies two breakthrough innovations-the quick sliding folding buckle adjustment system, which allows the wearer to adjust the strap elasticity without removing the watch; ‘safety An ‘anchor’ (safety anchor) prevents the strap from falling off even if the buckle is released. Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph-a unique dive watch designed for underwater sports.
